Terms of Service
These terms explain how you may use NBTForge, what the tool provides, and how third-party Minecraft-related content is handled.
Last updated: May 15, 2026
Using the tool
NBTForge is a web-based workbench for building Minecraft commands, item stacks, entity data, and datapack JSON. You are responsible for testing generated output in your own Minecraft version, server environment, and datapack setup before using it in a public world or production server.
- Do not use NBTForge to distribute malicious files, misleading downloads, or content intended to damage another player or server operator.
- Do not overload the service with automated scraping, abusive requests, or repeated asset fetches.
- Do not present NBTForge output or branding as official Mojang Studios or Microsoft material.
No official Minecraft affiliation
NBTForge is a fan-made command utility created independently from Mojang Studios and Microsoft. The project is not affiliated with, sponsored by, maintained by, approved by, or endorsed by Mojang Studios or Microsoft. Minecraft names, logos, textures, game art, and related trademarks belong to Mojang Studios, Microsoft, or the applicable rights holders.
Textures, icons, and wiki references
The builder uses visual references to help users understand what a command will affect. Some icons, entity renders, item images, and texture references are loaded from Minecraft Wiki file redirects or point back to Minecraft Wiki source pages. Those materials may include Minecraft game assets, community documentation, or files maintained by wiki contributors.
NBTForge does not claim ownership of Mojang or Minecraft Wiki materials. When the app links to a source page, use that source page for the most accurate attribution, licensing notes, and file history.
Generated commands and datapacks
Generated commands are provided as a drafting aid. Minecraft command syntax changes across Java versions, Bedrock stable releases, snapshots, server forks, and datapack formats. NBTForge aims to warn about known incompatibilities, but the output is provided without a guarantee that every target environment will accept it.
Availability and changes
NBTForge may change modules, remove broken features, update output formats, or adjust third-party asset handling when Minecraft behavior changes or when a rights holder asks for a correction. We may update these terms as the project grows.
